This is my favorite view on our walks and hikes - my husband and dog in front of me. We got into this habit years and years ago - he always leads. He seems to have a nose for a trail. At times I don't even see the trail and then, well, there it is, just like he said. We have had incredible experiences in the wilds when he has followed his mysterious trails. I have tried on occasion to be the one in front and I find that I don't like it. It is comfortable to me to always see him in front of me! So, as a result, I have many pictures of his backside!
Such a lovely view. it's very comforting to have hubby lead the way. I always follow mine and points to any obstacles in the way, especially when walking in the forest.
I really can understand why you love it. Looks great and you`ve captured it beautiful . Fav. . I`ve to disappoint you a bit, By most of my pic.`s I try to avoid as much as I can: people, cars, modern windmills, traffic signs , power lines a.s.o. When they are on it I remove them. Only when the add some to the photograph they may stay. I`m a big photo liar.
@pyrrhula When I lived in Charleston, South Carolina I had trouble taking photos of the city without cars and finally just gave up! But sometimes I do like people.. I really agree with modern things, power lines and traffic signs. They seem to ruin a good picture very easily!
@pennystot Thank you, Penny! I do love the northwest very much and truly enjoy the summer we spend there. I know we won't always be able to go there so it is very special. We will get too old for such travel!
Beautiful area to wander in - love the colors. Agree with you - never seen a power line or stop sign I left in a picture - I may not know how to process much, but I have learned how to get rid of those! And I don't feel guilty about it. Hate those things in a pretty shot.
A magic spot for a mornings walk with a dog beautiful landscape.
