We made a quick trip to Mexico yesterday to see a dentist and get my hubby some new glasses. We live very close to the border so it is easy. The little town of Algodones is really just for tourist. Since we were on a mission to get business done I didn't get any fun pictures and this was with my phone as I won't take my camera there.
The border agent once told me that there are over 300 dentists in that small town. The one we went to has been the family dentist of our friends for over 20 years and we were pleased with her. The glasses were ready in 2 hours (spent at the dentist) and were a great bargain!
All those choices. They tend to confuse me and I can never decide. I'm amazed at this display in Mexico. The places I've visited look nothing like that.
@huvesaker It is very easy but not a nice place to spend some time. It is small and just for tourist trade. A typical "border town". Not like the lovely resort destinations!
Glad your trip to Mexico was a success! The last time I made a trip to Mexico was in high school with my Spanish class. It’s a 2-3 hour drive from San Antonio to the Laredo border. :-)
