Roses

I am trying to get all the mileage I can out of my Mother's Day roses. I have taken them out and rearranged them 2 or 3 times. I have taken many photos, few of which I was pleased with and I have put 3 in a bud vase in my bathroom where they look so pretty even if I don't think they will ever open. Question - why don't roses from the florist smell like roses?

( Sorry I can`t tell you the water level on that monent. It is a tide level but the hight change very much bij weather surcomstances and moon eclips)

I never paid much attention to the smell. I guess you're right. bought once from the store don't smell, if they did I couldn't tolerate them. I'm ellergic to fragrances.
