When we started our drive on the Apache Trail in Arizona we had no idea what to expect. We ended up on a dirt road and towards the end of the loop we ended up on the side of a rock cliff. It was a small road that had been carved out of the hillside and there was really only room for one car but it was two way! I was sitting on the outside but ended up on the floor almost in tears. I cannot handle heights like that. We actually made it to the top without a car coming down toward us - the road gods were smiling on us - and, without a heart attack! Once we were on the top this was the view that awaited us.
