Hot Time in the Old Town Tonight

Actually this was about 12:30 in the morning and even though it was just about 5 - 6 houses away, we didn't hear a thing. By the time it was over I noticed too many lights outside and confirmed that all was under control, there was nothing I could do and I needed my sleep for a busy day at work. I went back to bed.

I didn't know the people in the house but I do know that no one was injured. There was an explosion and it was all over in about 30 minutes. Notice the front of that expensive Humvee....all melted. The garage is completely gone and they have boarded up what is left already. The house next door suffered quite a bit of damage also. Hopefully we will get the whole story soon.
Jeepers! A day in your life photo for sure. Do not feel bad about sleeping through it. I lived in a flat years ago and all of us slept through a drive by shooting of the shops under our flat. The police did not believe us I think.

Oh, wow! I wonder what happened. You'll have to update us if you find out. Fire scares the heck out of me. It's amazing how massively destructive it is and how little time that destruction takes.
