We spent New Year's Eve here on our way south. It was a great anchorage, just not good services. Florida is the least friendly of the states to cruising boats. We had to pay to land our dinghies (or eat at the restaurant) and walk a long way to the store for supplies (like lettuce and carrots!) But it was extremely beautiful there so we didn't hold it against them!
So many wonderful pictures of your days spent on board. so many different places to visit. bet you have oodles and oddles of lovely pictures.and we had the pleasure of seeing quite a few of them here on 365.. if you are like me..on vacation we need more than1 or 2 CD cards b/c we have to wait till we get home to upload to the PCthanks ever so much for sharing all this with us. .
Great spot to spend NYE. I remember reading an article in Cruising World a few years back that said much the same thing... that Florida is not very cruiser-friendly, with services being hard to access and fees for all kinds of stuff. Too bad, because it's such a beautiful place.
