Lower Antelope Canyon by stownsend

Lower Antelope Canyon

After our visit to Sedona we headed north to the Arizona-Utah border. We had friends traveling with us on this stop and together we all visited Antelope Canyon. It is a slot canyon formed by water through the centuries. This first picture that I am sharing today is so that you can get a feel for the size of this place. We climbed down a spiral staircase to access it. More tomorrow.

This is in my Travel Album and is from our RV trip in 2015.
Fabulous colour. Is it the rock or a coloured light?

@mave @sunnygirl @jesika2 @suelbiz47 These canyons are incredible. The light is refracted (I think that is the word) and makes it all look different colors. It was all very breathtaking and my camera was very, very happy that day.
