You are looking at one happy dog. He loved hiking so much. This was at the end of our trail - or at least as far as we were going as our bodies can only take so much! Jake felt the same I am sure as he always went further than we did with all of his detours. At this point we sat and rested in the shade on a couple of tree stumps, had a light snack and then headed back down the trail to our campsite.
