Fabulous image Ron, love the composition those big eyes looking at you, I've visited San Diego 3 times and each time spent lots of it in Balboa Park area and been to the Zoo each time last May 2011
@grahambudd Yes, Graham, the panda and I have worked together for ages. She knows well by now what I want to capture and is a very obliging model. Thanks for those comments.
@jin1x@marmaladeskyes I knew you two especially would melt when seeing that one. Yes, Tracy, the SD Zoo is without doubt one of the finest facilities in the world. It's especially appealing to those of us running around with long lens cameras. You must visit some time!
How did I miss this?? (I know, not a question you can likely answer.) Great Panda shot! Excellent that there was a little action going on with the piece of bamboo; that added to the cuteness of this photo.
@dianeburns Yes, Diane - you must go to the zoo! Take all of the pictures that you can! @terryliv I'm not sure it's even possible to take a bad picture of a panda is it? Wait - yes it is. @lyndemc So cute it's almost illegal. She was a real ham, but no complaints on my end!
Now that I'm "in the know", I recognized this baby and the location immediately! I don't think I've had the opportunity to fave a panda yet, and that's an oversight!
