Fluffy Clouds at Sunset

I spotted this unusual cloud formation (for Southern California anyway) at sunset and decided to throw in a palm tree to give it some depth.

WowZa! This is amazing! Days that end with color shows like this one are a-okay in my book. Putting a single palm tree in the pic was genius; it gave just enough of a focal point yet didn't steal from the real reason for the image. Well taken! Fav (because I love sunsets like this).

@lyndemc Hi Denise - I am alive!! I know that's been in question recently. Super busy the past month. At this point I'm 4700 miles into a roughly 8000 mile coast-to-coast motorcycle ride. In another week or so I should be able to get to some photos and play catch-up. I miss you and your photos too!! Thanks for the concern and sorry to worry you. Let the others know I'm fine, but overwhelmed temporarily. :-(
