One of the activities that has kept me away from 365 was a 19 day California-to-Maine-to-California journey of 7800 miles. Many of my daily pictures were taken with a point and shoot from the seat of the bike, the first of which is this photo taken on Highway 12 in Utah, an amazing scenic ride. Not the usual quality relative to my DSLRs, but fun shots that I hope you will enjoy and feel like you were part of the adventure!
Hhhmmm. You could have played a bit more with the white black balance and I think you chose the wrong f stop for this. The horizon isn't level. Ha Ha Ha I love long road trips and road shots like this and I'm officially envious.
...ok...had to peek & now have to comment quickly! Can't believe you were no more than 6-8 hours away!!! I SO WISH you could have come on over! I kept hoping we'd hear from you! Well, the next best thing is that you're home safely! And I'm guessing you had a wonderful time! You KNOW in your heart, don't you, that you will NEVER catch up! Nice try! Hugs!
@Weezilou Hi Louise - sorry I was so out of touch. The days were incredibly busy, up at 6:00 rolling out and riding until 8:00 to 9:00 p.m., grab a room, grab dinner, sleep - and do it all over again. We never actually got to Maine (!!). Made New Hampshire and then got caught in the terrible storms. I had to turn around and zip back home as I had to get back in time to get on an airplane again and travel to Switzerland (where I am currently writing from). I still plan to ride to NS, NB and PEI though!

You are quite the adventurous one. You lucky dog, writing from Switzerland at the moment. I love that country. My hubby proposed to me in Murren. How could I not say yes in such a gorgeous setting! Enjoy your time there and I look forward to the journey across the USofA. It's a beautiful scene you captured here.
