Well, I learned the fate of yesterday's strawberry - a dunking into a glass of club soda. This is my first attempt at water splashes. I'm sure I can improve, but it's a start.
All I could think was, "How many ways can one say, 'Cheers'?!" http://www.awa.dk/glosary/slainte.htm "Pick your poison", I recall my parents saying, back in the days of the "Cocktail Hour"! How funny that now, often as not, we drink something both beautiful and healthy...well, sometimes... Did I forget to mention that this is gorgeous! I love that this was a class surprise! It looks just great to me!
Stunning capture, lovely clear detail against the background, I must have a go at one of these now you have set such a high standard, very well done Ron:)
Fun! I like the flying soda, well caught in-flight, but I also like the distorted disturbance around the berry. Your photography club sounds like such a good one.
Great shot, love the bright colour against the black background and how you captured the droplets in the air. Looks like you're learning some pretty interesting techniques!
@Weezilou Love that link, Louise. I can use those toasts in my travels. However I lived in Arizona for a while, and I sure don't recall toasting to "Hey Howdy!" Thanks for the fav. :-)
@kauaikris@pcoulson Easy to do - put soda in glass, throw in strawberry, take photo! I expect to see your versions shortly! ;-) Thanks for the nice comments.
@lyndemc Thank you, Denise! Distorted disturbance sounds like a great band name! I love the things that you find in photos. ;-) My "club" consists of two of us students and one teacher. Not so much demand this time, but a pretty good ratio for us students. ;-)
@marmaladeskyes Thank you Tracy, yeah it's pretty fun being urged to branch out into different areas. I appreciate your stopping by and viewing/commenting.
Had to check out this photo now after seeing Peter's photo. Great shot. We did something similar at our photo club workshop a while ago and got covered in water. ha ha.
