It looks like my residents have just about had enough of each other. Their wings are overlapping, there's hardly enough room for one, let alone two, and it appears they have tired of viewing their own likeness in facing one another for several weeks.
What a delight to see your grown-up kids! I'm glad they seem comfortable with you photographing them! I hope you're there when the first one flies...but you're really going to miss them! Glad they were covered and dry during the downpour!
lol about the harp instead of the squeaky clarinet. Let me just say that I really wanted to play the flute in grade school. That's what the 'cool' girls played, plus I loved the petite cases they got to carry their instruments in. My mom played the clarinet so that's what I got stuck with. Too bad she wasn't a harp player. Of course it doesn't come with a small case either.
I see I'm not the first to have come here looking for you! We have a lunch date and we're bearing "Island treasures"! I hope all is well... Please don't worry your friends here...
Hey, @lyndemc, @Weezilou, @summerfield, et al. I am back in business after a time out for work craziness. You hit it on the head, Denise - absolutely swamped with work. Got back in the picture taking business yesterday and should be back on a regular schedule....for now. Thanks for your concern and sorry to worry you!
@lyndemc Ah, thanks for worrying, Denise! Yeah, it got a little crazy. I had to spend a couple of weeks in NY, and I had all good intentions of grabbing some photos, bringing all of the opportunities presented by the Big Apple to my 365 friends. It didn't work out quite that way. Up at 5:00 a.m. every morning, on the job by 6:00, working until 8:00 to 8:30 every night, grab some dinner and back at the hotel between 10:00 and 10:30 p.m. didn't leave a whole lot of free time. The one day that I had free I intended to visit B&H Photo in person. Unfortunately the Rangers were playing a home afternoon game and parking was $47, flat rate!!!! I opted for a visit to the theater district instead and took maybe ten shots. The good news is I should be home for all of April, then a couple of trips in May, and then I officially pull the plug on the career. Lots of time for photos then! Missed your shots and comments and encouragement lots!
@stray_shooter That was a brutal schedule you had in NY. No wonder pullin' the plug on the career sounds like an inviting idea. And are you serious, 47 bucks for parking?? *choke* Seeing B&H Photo live and in person would've been a real treat though. I've bought a few things from them on-line... !! Looking forward to your picture posts. Thanks for stickin' with your 365 friends. And forgive us for worrying.
