Since I'm on a roll with Colorsketch shots, I thought I'd post a view of the place that I supposedly used to work. Seems I was supposed to have retired, but I continue to go into the office to wrap up unfinished projects. Help me!
The smartest thing I did when I retired Ron was to immediately (once the hangover had fixed itself anyway) take off on a 7 week trip to the UK and Europe. It not only cut the umbilical cord as if it had been whacked with an axe, but also broke the going to work habit with a thud.
By the time I returned after the 7 weeks, my brain had been purged of those evil work ideas and I couldn't remember anything about it.
Nice Coloursketch BTW
Lovely image of the old work place Ron, know how you feel, like Terry I did a trip around Europe for 3 months out of contact, still get emails and calls all start off with just wondered how your getting on, followed by whilst we are talking can I pick your brain about !!! makes you laugh, they would take me back tomorrow but no chance my free time is special, just keep your involvement to a minimum than start saying no they will get the message, best of luck Ron:)
get on the harley and just ride far, far away! that's what you do. the processing looks like a page out of a textbook. i'd like to see and admire the original. :-)
@terryliv@panthora@joysfocus@pcoulson@summerfield OK, OK! Good news - I am in fact leaving tomorrow for two weeks worth of riding on the bike - and completely out of touch with the "former" workplace. Unfortunately I agreed to be available now and then for consulting, which of course I'll be paid handsomely for. I do appreciate the concern and advice though!
A few weeks after I got home from the UK/Europe trip, I got a call from one of the head hunters offering me a Project Management role. Asked them what the job was all about which they told me.
Me "That sounds like a lot of work"
Head Hunter "What sort of work would you be interested in?"
Me "Something that pays a lot and I don't have to do anything."
I never heard from them again. ha ha ha @pcoulson
Love what you did with this photo...I really like that camera app! Such fun to have had a chance to chat so that I already know all about this story :)
