The Hills are Alive

A friend that saw this said she expected to see Maria come dancing through the field. I was thinking Heidi myself. This is my favorite shot from Glacier National Park. I really could have used a wider angle lens, and I just took care of that issue with the delivery today of a new 14-24mm zoom. Now I just have to get back to this spot. One year away!
Wow, that is beautiful....and, sunny....and, happy....and, yes, I expect Maria to descend that mountain singing and dancing!! Great capture! FAV!! And, it is always nice to get new toys!

@panthora Thanks, Osia - glad you made the Maria connection! The new toy is pretty cool! I'll be playing around with it tomorrow.

@terryliv Thanks, Poppo. It's one of those "the pictures don't do it justice" situations. You know that one!

@gilbertwood Did the orchestra not strike up for you? Are sure you had your speakers on? ;-) Thanks for the comments, Denise.

@onewing It was either yodeling or screaming from the other tourists. In order to get this shot I had to hike down into the field to get the flower perspective. I'm sure I ruined many a tourist's photo.
