Subtle Back Yard by stray_shooter

Subtle Back Yard

This is the back yard of this year's Palm Springs rental home. To be precise it's Rancho Mirage, but I think the pool actually extends across several of the cities in the area. Stunning place that even features a Tiki Hut. We were not quite sure what one is supposed to do with a Tiki Hut......but it's pretty cool!
Looks like an interesting place to stay. Enjoy your golf!

@pamknowler Interesting to say the least. This home was actually featured on the MTV's Cribs show. Just another ho hum mansion!

@cottiac Thanks for stopping by to comment - on all of the shots! I do appreciate it.

@gilbertwood Thanks Denise. I actually forgot the tripod, so had to resort to setting the camera on pool's edge and use the self timer. I was a bit nervous to say the least - especially after a few of those swing juice helpings!

@summerfield Thanks Vikki. A very impressive place. And a photographer's paradise!

@aglennc Thanks Anita. It wasn't too bad, as things go for Palm Springs in the summer. We got out of there just in time, though. The temps went up to 122 the next day!

@redy4et Yeah, just a simple little 4,000 square foot pool. I think the chemicals for the pool alone exceed my own monthly house payment.

@onewing Thanks Babs. I'm trying my hardest to fulfill the expectations of all of my jealous working friends. ;)

@pcoulson Thanks Peter. I'd love to see what the Sony A7 RII could do with this layout!

@stray_shooter We drove to Yuma this past weekend, had to be there for several days. Everyone kept telling us how "cool" it was -- It, too, had been 122 degrees the week before. Ouch! A tad warm.
