Like the title says, somebody's got something new to play with. Venturing into the world of mirrorless cameras with this baby. This is the A7 RII, quite the interesting piece of equipment. I hope I can do it justice. You all will be the judges.
@lyndemc Oh, wow, new toys are so much fun! Very different using this camera as compared to the Nikon. One nice advantage is I can utilize all of my Nikon glass using an adapter. So much potential!
@tigerdreamer The weight was a factor for me, as well as the increased level of resolution - 45 megapixels! The RAW files are huge though! Now i need a new computer!
Wow! Nice new camera..... and POV. I'm sure you'll do it justice, Ron. Your past endeavors are well known. We expect the same quality from the new toy. Looking forward to seeing some results.
@stray_shooter I've read a little about these mirrorless cameras but have never tried on. Need to go somewhere and 'test drive' one, just out of curiosity.
Perhaps we need a "sony mirrorless" photo shoot.... It's become Ken's favorite, and I seriously need to learn a lot more about it! Mine's the "less fancy" variety, but I'm quite liking it. Congrats on your new toy! (You're my good example when I tell Ken I could use another camera!)
