"TATER!" What an adorable name and lucky you to have a new family member! I was 15 minutes shy of coming back with one, but therein lies another story!
Wonderful pose with lovely detail and lighting, I'm interested to learn how it got the name Ron, I associated "Tater" with Tater Tots a side dish made from deep-fried, grated potatoes, recognised by their crispness and cylindrical shape.
@pcoulson Thanks for the comments Peter. I actually got quite lucky on this shot as it was taken with my Samsung Galaxy (which captures surprisingly good detailed photos). Oh, I'm quite familiar with "tots" as we call them - especially tasty with cheese and bacon! Tater is actually short for his "proper name," which is Potato. He was rescued as a kitten from a cat-lady hoarder. The entire litter was assigned "P" names. Two of his siblings were Pickles and Peaches. He was named Potato due to two big brown spots on his side. I just sort of began referring to him as Tater for short.
@lyndemc Oh, rest assured, you'll see more pictures of him....and his brother, Moe. Both are reasonably photogenic. And that is a horrible pun that just could get you banned.....but of course I love it!
