Corona Del Mar Sunset - Alternate Version

From that same shoot three days ago, but a different vantage point and with the sun a little lower. I wanted to capture the reflection in the wet sand. You can still see the sea gull perched on the rock.
Another superb image Ron, lovely perspective, light and colour:)

A beautifully peaceful scene. My favourite time of the day. I love the sunlight on the sand.

Oh I love it. I think I like this one better than the other. Love the thin line frame you have put on it too. A FAV for sure.

The sun set reflections on the wet sand are awesome. This is so beautiful. Tell me, do you ever have ho hum, no color sunsets in Southern California? 😊

Now that I comment "on that other site", I forget to check here, but this should be so deserving of the PP! Gorgeous, Ron!

Awesome Ron! I have very similar tones and colors from a shot I did at Mono Lake two years ago: https://365project.org/mikegifford/365/2016-06-08

@pcoulson Thank you Peter - I knew you'd say that!

@onewing Thanks very much Babs. I agree - my favorite time too.

@k1w1 Thanks Christine. Wait, I have yet another - you might like that one even more! I appreciate it.

@louannwarren Ha ha, yes, there are plenty of featureless sunsets in California. ;) I do appreciate the comment.

@Weezilou Looks like your prediction came true - thanks for helping out with that! Are you becoming an "other site" addict already?

@mikegifford Oh, holy cow, that is an awesome shot MIke! I've only been to Mono Lake a few times and never close enough to get such images....oh, and I've never had one of the "good" cameras with me either. Thanks for sharing!

@stray_shooter I know a good photo when I see it! This was deserving (and I loved seeing what Mike compared it to as well!) I'm enjoying "the other site" far more than I thought I would...just have to keep clear of haters! It;s been excellent for keeping us abreast of information in Ashley's area on Thomas Fire Info. And like an idiot I made the mistake of starting to look at cute animal videos... Suddenly it's 2 AM!

@stray_shooter the instant I saw your image I fav'd it! The colors and tones are remarkably similar to my Mono Lake capture. Now you'll have to plan a Mono Lake shoot! When there plan on taking Milky Way pictures as well. The night sky is dark and it's a great place to shoot! @Weezilou
