Ocean Motion

I'm back to my Monday night classes. This evening's project was trying to convey motion using slow shutter speeds. This one was taken with a graduated ND filter that darkened the sky nicely and allowed me to slow the shutter speed down to around a half second.

Whatever speed, filter, maybe that is what results in such good colours.... sand, sea and sky! fav

This is gorgeous! The beach is my happy place. I was raised in Pacific Palisades, a mile from the beach. My stomping ground was Santa Monica, Venice, Topanga and Malibu. Fav.

@redy4et Yes, we usually meet somewhere on the beach in the early evening and shoot at or near dusk - and sometimes after the sun sets, which really produces some interesting images!
