Sundown Seascape by stray_shooter

Sundown Seascape

I wish I could say I got this shot today, but it's still difficult to get out and shoot sunsets. So I decided to go with one that I took earlier this year. I was actually trying to capture the sun glint in the wave spray, but the seagull photobombed me and actually kind of enhanced the shot. Good thing, because it wasn't much of a sun glint capture. But together everything kind of worked out - at least that's what I thought.
So near and yet impossibly far : ( This is a beautiful reminder of what we're missing...rather criminal, all in all. THIS is what life's meant to be (she yelled, rattling the bars of her cage!)

Beautiful sunset! I haven't seen any sunsets in two months and really miss them. If I'm out now, it's usually mid-day so it's not the best light but it is what it is.

@Weezilou Maybe not criminal for too much longer, Louise! A lot has changed in a 24 hour period. I'm guessing the one of the rich tech guys whispered in our favorite pretty boy's ear as suddenly his tune has changed quite a bit! Hoping, hoping. Thanks for the review!

@redy4et Thanks so much, Elizabeth. Yes, I too miss seeing one of nature's great spectacles. As indicated above, there may be cause for hope though!

@domenicododaro Thanks so much, Dom. It would be even more amazing to once again see one in person. :-(

@pcoulson Thanks, Peter. Gotta love a bird with an understanding of the rule of thirds, huh?

@pdulis Thanks, Peter, but I must attribute much placement to the bird itself. ;-)

@gardenfolk Yes, we all miss the beach, the sunset, the beauty. Maybe closer to it, though, based on recent developments!
