It occurred to me under Stay At Home time that I have been bypassing the beauty of the very place where I reside. So I'm going to start a series of photos featuring "my town," in hopes of encouraging me look a little closer around me and at the same time share with you all views of my place of residence. So here it the first of my anticipated series.
That's a good idea- I think we've often thought of the limitations we're facing but your idea to take a closer look at the place where you live is a way to work them to your advantage. Your town square looks lovely!
@summerfield Thanks Vikki. It's a great park to hang out in - and I had to be very patient to get a shot that was not filled with visitors. I guess Sunday at mid-day was not my best choice of times.
@pcoulson Thanks, Peter. Many people ask me why I continue to live in California, given the expenses and the whacked out leaders, but the beauty is a huge selling point. We sometimes refer to the cost of residing here as the "beauty tax." I am taking donations, if you're interested. ;-)
@pdulis Thanks, Peter. There's a very limited window of time to get the jacarandas in full bloom. And that often coincides with our "May Gray" and "June Gloom." Lucky to get a day of full sun during these weeks.
@olivetreeann Thanks Ann. Maybe one of those little unintended bonuses about being forced to stay near home. Now let's just hope I keep it up! Sunday's are the day I intend to fulfill the task. Good hear from you!
@stray_shooter I worked on an electrical exchange programme in San Diego 1977-1978 and fell in love with California have holidayed many times in Californa since, for me its would worth every penny Ron:)
