This week's Capture 52 theme is Moody Atmosphere. I thought this fit the theme pretty well. When I spotted the clouds forming I was expecting to get some pink, but think just kind of became overcast. Then a hole opened higher above the horizon, giving me this opportunity. Not exactly pink clouds, but good enough!

Exquisite layers, Ron. So āCaliforniaā, so beautiful. Iām assuming you are a native Californian, Iāve loved the street/neighborhood Louise said you introduced her to, for her recent series of photos as art. You know where the most photogenic places are, for sure.
@louannwarren Thanks Lou Ann. Not exactly a native, but I've lived here (except for a little seven year interruption) for 42 years. Oddly enough, I believe Louise is a native, but I'm proud to have been able to have discovered that little spot and introducing to her and others.
@dutchothotmailcom Thanks, Esther. Those are actually bougainvillea bushes in the foreground. It was my good fortune that the sun was shining on them to bring out the pretty red.
