Bit of an experiment this really - we sometimes light up a joss tick at home, quite a nice thing to do on a Friday afternoon once everyone is home from their respective places of employment or education and we wind down for the weekend. So here's my first amateurish attempt at smoke photography.
Photo notes: to be honest, I took so many photos that I can't remember which specific combination of light sources and placement I used for this particular shot. I did place the joss stick against a dark background - in this case a black t-shirt. Who said photography had to be glamorous?
