I think this is an example of how a scene can offer a lot of potential, and yet I have completely failed to do anything decent with it. This is the only photo I took today of the check in area of Singapore's Changi airport, and it could have been so much more. Oh well. It is what it is, as I like to say.
It's the end of our fantastic holiday, and I will have a little break I think, before starting year 2.
See you soon.
Only marginally better viewed large :)
There is nothing wrong with this photo, I love the processing, the reflections and the amazing ceiling. Great capture. :) (come back soon, I will miss you).
i kind of like this... gives a wonderful sense of sheer size as well as a good look at the architecture and design... the processing, i think, really helps with this, as it mutes any potentially distracting elements...
This is a good shot Janelle, the expansive ceiling looks incredibly busy as opposed to the floor space being sparse of people.... which is odd for an airport. Lovely work :)
I know what you mean also - sometimes I have a vision in my head but it can not translate into a digital image no matter how hard I try. That being said, I like this image of yours, especially the ceiling details and your processing.
I think it's fantastic! I agree it's totally busy, but I think it's great as something is always pulling at you to look at this spot oh no wait over here look at that! I adore you processing and I think it's perfect.
Sorry for the late post, but I'm your get-pushed partner this week. I absolutely love this shot--the colors and lines are fantastic! I would like to challenge you this week to take a picture with all the colors of the rainbow in it. Good luck--I can't wait to see what you post!
