A broken stem from my bunch of daises in an egg cup. I was experimenting with the white balance, and had it set for white fluorescent light while I was shooting outdoors. I quite like the effect. This photo seems serene to me, and a direct contrast to my afternoon http://365project.org/stuckinoz/other-things/2012-02-25
@buggirl I agree with you, that it is similar to her excellent flower in a vase photos. You don't know how much it pleases me to hear that, as I have always admired her flower shots, and aspired to them.
@mwestb I have never shot is RAW. I really have no idea how to do it, or what I would do with it afterwards. I think my husband would have a heart attack about the size of the files though, as he is always complaining to me about how all my photos are filling up the d drive. I should look into it and have a play. Do you need to edit in Photoshop though, as I am rubbish at Photoshop?
@stuckinoz photoshop will convert the file from RAW to DNG not sure what that is all about, however then you can set white balance and a host of other items. I am no expert at it. No question, they are huge files.
