Hopefully if you look towards the top left you'll see where the cute little guy in this shot comes from: http://365project.org/suebarni/365/2012-07-16
Sorry its a bit high key I'm experimenting but kinda like it.
@swguevin Hi Sheila, no edits, just straight out of the camera. I took a slower photo than I would normally. I wanted to let lots of light in because it was getting dark - mid afternoon in summer, the weather is so awful you'd think it was winter! Experimenting is fun, I have so much to learn.
@michelle58 I dont mind any one asking ;-) (and I hope they have patience with me when I ask stuff, I'm like a small child I have lots to learn lol)
This was just a happy combination of white background to start with and lots of light.
I have blank white canvas from an art shop. Mine is 30x20 inches, they come in all sorts of sizes and only cost a few £'s. I use it as a background quite a lot and often as a reflector. Really I think I need a couple more so I can put one under one behind and use one to reflect light. Card or paper can be just as effective but not shiny stuff.
I set the camera at f2.8 and cranked the dial so it took the photo for longer so it lets more light in. If you, or anyone else, clicks on 'view info' where is says Exif alongside anyones photo it tells you how long the exposure was. This one was 1/13. Hope that helps.
