Ready for Company by suelbiz47

Ready for Company

We're expecting out of town company to arrive tonight and stay for a couple of days so there have been some preparation activities going on around here. Maggie just can't quite figure out what's going on. We rarely use our finished basement but the the last couple of days we've been down there a lot. Everything is clean and shiny. I think we're ready!
aw! that is about the cutest thing I've ever seen!

I love seeing you in the picture - kind of hidden there in the corner! How nice that you have all that space. We have weekend guests coming today also - they will have a nice bed - queen size but will have a hard time moving around it as the room is so small! But they have lived on a boat for about 20 years - doubt they will mind much!

It looks very comfortable and inviting! Dogs ALWAYS sense when something out of the ordinary is happening, don't they? Have a great time with your company, Sue. We are also having out of town guests for the whole week starting Sunday night. My son asked us some tme ago if a friend of his (and the friend's girlfriend) could stay in our guestroom if they came down to go to Disneyworld. They are short on funds, and if they could have a bed each night at our house, it would save them a lot of cash. Told you we call our home "Hotel Florida"!

It's obvious--you've made up the beds for Maggie (:

I just noticed you in the mirror--great positioning of everything!

Thanks, everyone.

Yes, I noticed myself after the fact. Ha!

Suzie, your company is just lucky to be with you and Kirby. I know they'll have a wonderful time. Are you planning any excursions around Charleston?

Linda: We had to get a blow up mattress for the kids to sleep on - we already had a queen bed down there. I think it will come in handy for other times as well. This is our first stay-over company since we moved in two years ago. I'm keeping "Hotel Florida" on speed dial. Sometimes you just need to see the ocean up close and personal. And you and Dale sound like wonderful hosts... that's so sweet of you to provide a room for them.

Suzie is right, at first I thought it was a picture then realized it was a mirror with your reflection. Neat!

The *best* B&Bs have a companion pet, in my estimation! This looks like your friends will be veru comfortable in this spacious room! Enjoy your company and a good visit!
