Blue Tit

Outing with my photography group to Sevenoaks Wildfowl reserve to take some images of birds. This was my first attempt at doing something like this and few of my pictures were completely in focus. We did see blue tits, great tit, chaffinches and a goldfinch around the bird feeders, and grey herons on the lake. It is a place I will return to to try to improve my bird photography, which is not easy!
Wonderful capture

@anniesue Agreed, they don't stay still! The advice given to me was to focus on a branch that they like to sit on, then wait for the bird to come. Then you can quickly take the shot without having to chase the bird around with your camera. I used a fast shutter speed as well.

@fbailey Thank you so much. I didn't think any of my shots would have come out in focus, but I was quite pleased with this one

He is so cute. He reminds me of the Lone Ranger with his mask on.
