Gary - Lifeboat volunteer

Had a very interesting and informative talk at the Tower Lifeboat station on the river Thames, which is the busiest RNLI station in the country. The station has a round the clock crew ready to launch their boat in less than 90 seconds after a call out. As well as the paid crew there are volunteer crews who give up their time to help save lives.

This is Gary, one of the volunteer crew, who gave us details of the state of the art lifeboats.
A great portrait - very natural - looks like he is listening to a question from somebody.
