The West Pier Brighton

The west pier in Brighton opened in 1866 and finally closed in 1975. It subsequently stood derelict and fell into disrepair until 2 fires in 2003 left little of the original structure remaining. It remains as a striking skeletal structure off shore.
wow, love the parallel lines here and it being monochrome makes it very striking. 2nd fav in 2 minutes!!

That sea looks very cold and very choppy. Lovely sharp B&W.
