Keeping an eye on the tradies

Maisie keeping an eye on the tradies. We used a local electrician who lives across the road, we should have went with someone else. I don't think we will use him in the future. He complains all the time, he comes and doesn't complete work he comes back the next day or when it is convenient for him to show up. He doesn't call to say when he is coming. I just don't have the patience for people who are negative about everything and complain about doing a job they are being paid to do. He makes me feel bad about that fact he has to work. I can see why he is struggling to find local work, I am guessing the word is out not to use him. It has taken a week to do what should have been done in one day. He is making me so frustrated, to the point where I just want to find another sparky to complete the job. Needless to say, he will not be putting in our lights, Neil will get the sparky from work to do them. Rant over :)
Maisie doesn't look impressed with his work either! (She is gorgeous though!)

@kali66 he blames everyone else for his downfalls, he wouldn’t take this information and work on it, he would whine to the next customer about it.

Cute shot. It does sound typical with many workers. My daughter is dealing with a contractor with problems, too.

you'd think he would shut up and work with this supervisor! ;)

Shame about the tradie. We had the same with the people who repaired our retaining wall. His crew were pleasant enough but so slow and in the middle of doing the job he went off to the snow for a week. Didn't say about that when he took on the job. Needless to say his workmen didn't put in much time while he was away either. He is back now and the job is done, well almost. They just have the wonky fence to fix but now that we have paid him he keeps making excuses as to why he can't complete the job yet. We can't put our plants back in until the fence is fixed and quite a few of them have died. We won't be using him again either. Rant over, ha ha.

@onewing funny that, he was complaining that the real estate agent he works with hasn’t paid him. Neil is a big softy and gave him money up front to help tide him over. I told Neil at the time it was a mistake but Neil doesn’t live his life by what others do to him or think about him. He always does what’s right no matter how badly someone may disrespect him. He always says don’t stoop to their standards and it makes sense. But at times it’s frustrating. I hope your fence issue gets resolved soon.

Maisie looks just as upset as you, she obviously feels what you feel. Hope the job will be over soon and you are rid of him.
