tonight, little wahoo and grandmere summerfield took the subway to a flower shop that always have spectacular window display. little wahoo was telling grandmere about all the blue and purple lights in this display window and how she would love to pose by that window. they were very disappointed, especially little wahoo, to find that the florists had changed their display to a red theme.
grandmere explained to little wahoo that since st. valentine's day is next month, the florists were now getting ready for their valentine display. it took a lot of nudging by grandmere to make little wahoo pose with the golden cherubs and balls of red roses. little wahoo thought the display was quite gaudy and frankly resembled a bawdy house. it maybe so, said grandmere, but it was getting late and getting past little wahoo's bedtime.
then, grandmere did a double take. "how in heaven's name do you know about bawdy houses?" grandmere asked. "um...er...ah, i read in your books, grandmere," replied little wahoo.
and grandmere said, "ooops!"
PS: little wahoo wants ms. carolyn sue to know she found this window display sooooo red, so if she's still looking for something red, she'd find everything here. :-)

thank you, folks, for taking the time to view my photos. i appreciate your comments. i know i am behind in commenting on yours but i am slowly catching up. 'tis quite difficult to work, write, photograph and at the same time take care of a lovely little cow who's not going to take off her tiara anytime soon.
@summerfield Damn auto correct!! I don't know what I meant cos I can't remember, lol, but I keep making typos on this bluddy iPhone! Back to my computer in 4 days yay!! Maybe I meant madly?
