sweet sensation #4

this is pistache galore - white chocolate mousse liberally mixed with finely chopped roasted pistachio nuts with a thin slice of angel cake for the base and topped with pistachio jelly with thin white chocolate wafers. i love pistachio. and i love white chocolate. it is a sin not to love this one!

we discovered a new place to have breakfast called artisano. i got a slice of carrot cake and a slice of new york style cheese cake. the cheese cake's gone :-) and the carrot cake is well wrapped so i can have it in the next two days or so. that place is sensational but quite far so i had to 'stock up' (yeah, like a need to when next door is a french patisserie, eh?). but i have to hide the canned goods so this post comes early. i'm saving the cake for after supper. or lunch. or the next hour.

Wow- I'm not a huge pistachio fan, but the white chocolate is very enticing! You had carrot cake and cheesecake for breakfast? Lucky you. I could never get away with that with Jeff. He'd be lecturing me on why I never lose weight and I'd be telling him the "food police" should go off duty. Yummy shot!

@sticksandstones - that was more than a week ago. i had other desserts for breakfast since then. one morning i ran out of oatmeal and what did i see in my cupboard? a big bar of chocolate. heck, i forgot about those hauls i've been hiding. good thing i haven't been invaded by ants or i'd be going nuts why they're coming here! and i have new dessert for today. can't wait for the next meal. or maybe i won't wait. :-D
