so, partner and i ended up at the lake west of downtown toronto. there we found several swans and i think it's mating season or get-a-mate-season for these guys. of course i had to hop my way to the water's edge because everywhere there were goose poops, or maybe swan poops. whatever, and i didn't want those to end up in my sneakers' treads.
we were watching this pair of mute swans and it seemed like they were courting. i aimed my viewfinder at a pair of fighting swans when partner noticed this two 'kiss' and their necks formed the shape of a heart. he was quite excited the way he said, "quick! quick! take that quick!" i told him to be quiet! :-D i wasn't quick enough in focusing and of course i was kicking meself for deliberately leaving my 200 lens to accommodate the bridge camera which i planned to use should it be raining hard. so this is the best i could manage.
sooc, but cropped in camera to get a closer view. name tag and border from ribbet.
thank you for your kind views and comments; they are much appreciated.
Wow such a wonderful story, must of been a incredible to watch. Too bad you couldn't get a shot in time but this one is just as beautiful, kind of romantic even. Fantastic composition and tones...well done Vikki =)
