the columns on the right are of the building where we have our offices. this corner is the heart of the financial district of downtown toronto. this is looking south, those two buildings are about 2 blocks from the boardwalk.
it is lunchtime, about a few minutes after one. there is unusually less people than normal this being a monday. sometimes when i don't know what photos to take, i just take a few shots to get me in the groove to shoot. these two women in the foreground, one is crouching down to pick up her iPhone that has fallen on the sidewalk, are taking photos, too, and i wonder if one of them is @northy or if they have taken a photo of me just before i passed by them. i'm pretty sure the iPhone is kaput because there are plenty of pieces to be picked up.
sooc. too bad, the woman whose back is towards the camera has on a red coat. i was so tempted to do selective colouring.
thank you for your kind views and comments; i really do appreciate them a lot.
Uh-oh bye-bye iPhone! You can always do the selective coloring version in album #2! I wish I'd had a nice scene like this to shoot today! But I did have a curved road. Nice shot and composition.
@carolinedreams - when i first glanced at them, the phone seemed shiny and looked brand new. she was quite upset it took her a long time to stand up from gathering the pieces. i was already at the corner crossing the street and they were still there. thank you, caroline.
@olivetreeann - bye-bye, indeed, methinks! i just realized i couldn't do selective colouring because i shot it in black and white. tee-hee! sometimes my brain could be so dense. thank you, ann.
not me ;p i had planned to scope out cityhall today but no time for lunch in the end... nice pov on this... love that sweep of sidewalk heading down to the lake... and you're right - i don't recall ever seeing it so empty on a weekday!
