it's hard to believe that a mere couple of hours after i took this yesterday, severe storms struck the city and caused some serious damage.
this was the fountain at st. james cathedral park and it was rife with little birds bathing themselves which to me appeared to be in delight. well, it was hot and humid to start with. these two were particularly loving the water as they kept diving in. they'd fly away only to come back a few moments later. at one time there was a dozen of them there, but these two never left the fountain for long.
thank you for your visits and comments; they are so much appreciated.
fantastic shot summerfield!
btw, I have uni assignments for next week and a block study week in London the week after...so I may have to play catch-up with 365 as I have NO time to take photos right now (not sure I have time to eat or sleep either!)
this is such an amazing shot - the way the birds are standing against each other, the water around them, and the colorful backdrop all work together to make this a FAV for me!
Great focus lady!! ^ what @atooner said...but we got a heavy shower. Keep hearing we're getting some later today, but I'll believe it when I see it! I need the humidity to clear out...yuck. Fav, I love your bathing birdies :)
@shutterbugger - thanks, kid. i think my phone dialed your phone by mistake earlier this evening. i felt the phone vibrating (thankfully in my hand and not anywhere else tee-hee!) then i heard a girlie voice. but i was trying to take a photo of something and the darn phone just does what it wants to do. ack! sorry about that. [sheepish grin!]
