almost swarovski by summerfield

almost swarovski

saw a lone mute swan at the lake. i didn't stay long enough to see if there were more but this one was just gliding by itself far away from the ducks and geese.

i thought that when they have their feathers like this it was part of a courtship ritual. hmmmm....must read some more about these birds. i thought i had a perfecft swarovski profile but it moved as i pressed the shutter.

isn't it something? i've learned so much, not just about photography, but about a lot of other things since engaging in this hobby and being on this site everyday. so many things to learn and retain in the old brain methinks it will start to self combust!

thank you, ladies and gents, for your views and comments; i do appreciate them so. and i will play 'catch up' once again as from tomorrow with your albums.
