get pushed #57 - textural shot

tammeray is my partner this week for the get pushed challenge and her push for me is "to take a B&W textural shot".

the same fountain in the other album but converted in camera to black and white. there are three textural elements in this photograph: the leaves of the trees and bushes in the background, the water with the silky effect from the long exposure and the marbly bricks of the fountain.

to me there are two most soothing and calming sound in the world i think. one is the sound of rippling water and the other is the sound of a baby's laugh.

the coloured version is here: http://365project.org/summerfield/365-again/2013-08-20

grand slam! four challenges in one pic.

thank you for your kind views and comments; i truly appreciate them.
@tammeray - here's my response to your push. hope you like it.

I do like the coloured version better - you can see the water flowing a bit better. However this has value on its own!

@olivetreeann - i know, we both love when we could fit in a shot with more than two challenges, don't we? thank you, ann,.

@maggiemae - thank you, maggiemae. i think that they seem to have different characters no matter that it's the same photograph.

It's a great subject for the challenge, lots of texture. As you say the water flow could maybe do with being a bit better! looks great in B & W but I really like the colour one the best!
