we went to have brunch at a trendy restaurant on a trendy street in hamilton. they use everything organic - vegetables, flour, meat, etc. they serve water in those big milk bottles from a long time ago and each table is decorated with a small green bottle with real daisies in them. in my boredom, i must've taken about fifty pictures of our table's centerpiece, in different lighting, exposures, shutter speed, overhead, side, against the sun, you name it. and all for me to process the one i liked best in befunky so it would look like it was a watercolour painting.
i'm counting days until january when i go visit the old country and take in the islands and beaches.
love the processing Summerfield. Looking forward to a beach vacation too in January. Pretty sad since we just finished summer. Have you ever been to Chuck's in Hamilton? Awesome burgers
I LOVE the Befunkiness! And I am glad to know I am not the only one to sit at restaurants and take pics of the candles, centerpiece, etc.. just did that Sunday.
I love this shot as a watercolor- although I'm sure it looked good with no editing magic as well. You are not alone in your centerpiece madness. I do that too when there's something pretty like this one. As I said, I love it- fav
Yummy. This is beautiful and I have a friend who works the opposite magic. She processes her watercolors of old canning jars and ivy until they look like photographs.
@atooner - thank you, amy. never been to chuck's. we'll check it out next time we go there, especially if they have good veggie burger, as i don't eat meat. :-)
@espyetta - hahaha! people find me weird that i would take a shot of the top of a pepper shaker or salt shaker, or my food, or the food of other people at other tables! tee-hee! thank you, MB.
@cathrinemitch - thank you, cathy. try befunky.com it's a free program just like ribbet and ipiccy. but it eats your exif info much like ipiccy. but they have those cool 'masters' effects.
@olivetreeann - ah, ann, thank you for the generous fav, i like it! it does look retro without the processing but this still came out good, methinks. thanks, friend.
