in the deep freeze by summerfield

in the deep freeze

methinks i am a sucker for punishment. after freezing me buns this morning i asked partner if we can go to the beaches. "in this cold?" i didn't think it was that cold. :-) well, as long as he can just stay in the car. sure, i said.

well, what do you know. his alter ego the director/dictator overtook him and soon as we got to the beaches, it was "stand right here" or "over this way" once again. but he gave me this view. we were standing on really icy rocks and i was taking photos of the ice formations on the east side of the lake and he said turn around. i did, very slowly as i didn't want to slip and fall on the icy water. and this was the view. i was kind of like "oh, there's the CN tower!" but look at those stalactites that formed on the rocks. nature is indeed awesomely beautiful and incredibly dangerous.

i just wished i carried my little crystal ball with me.

my macro shot of the twin snowflakes yesterday made it to pp and i have you, wonderful folks, to thank for.
Oh this is COOL...and cold. Love the skyline in the background. Fav and fab shot!!!
