inside the welcome centre in niagara where i had taken shelter from the heavy snow and the obnoxious tourists, i quite fancied this large Christmas tree with a big red shiny ball at the very bottom. i thought of the show and tell theme this week of 5+2 and my get pushed challenge of a red ball. well, this may qualify for the show and tell but not quite for the get pushed as i re-read my challenge and it's supposed to be a red balloon.
partner and i are in niagara falls for our fifth annual "get away from it all Christmas in niagara". at st. catherines just before reaching our destination, we stopped at our favourite seafood restaurant, joey's, where we had a sumptuous seafood lunch on the way, and because he turned 70 ten days ago, he qualified for their birthday promotion: your age is your discount. how cool is that? and that is good for me as i was treating him. :-P
