this is the final image for my self-challenge of black and white month. thank you, bill, sally and ann for joining me.
i shall miss black and white. when i started taking photographs a few years back, i had an aversion for it because i thought the world is in colour so we should see it and show it in colour. but as i joined some challenges, i realize that there are subjects that look better in black and white, more details show, and the perspective is certainly different. i've learned from some of the best around here on 365, most notably northy who i have had the honour of seeing how she works at her craft/art. it's fascinating to watch her. and if you must know, i call this the northy bridge! taken today while riding at 110 kmph.

I really do think that b/w makes me see better in color and vice versa! It's been fun finishing up the month in black and white. I'm sure a few more will pop up now and then, until Feb. rolls around and "Flash o' Red" returns!
I so love to combine the two. That is why I love 365...that and the fun banter and friends. Good for you for sticking to b&w for a whole month. I don't think I could do it. Love your Northy bridge shot. I am pondering the spring meet up and hope I can swing it. Perhaps I can get all the Mad Hatters there, too. It would be fun to meet the team.
@bill_fe - because she's featured this bridge in her albums soooooo many times, in different times of day or night and different perspective. i only started shooting this last year and mostly when we drove by!
