let peace shine on you. by summerfield

let peace shine on you.

the boys' grandmother (on the other side of the family) died, she was i think about 70-ish. there were so many flowers, of blush pink and reds and cream roses. and calla lilies! but alas, out of respect, i never pulled out my camera. so i left early and went shopping at sears.

thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that they are truly appreciated.
Sorry to hear that the boys have lost a grandmother. I like the angle of the lines. Much more effective than if they went straight across.

A dynamic capture, sorry to hear of the loss, my Mum was granny to 17 blood and 7 blended and is totally missed by them all. Special Grannies have a corner of our hearts, all our lives, even when they are gone for many years.

I love calla Lillie's and the light and shadow from the blind enhances this one!

I'm taken with the faint purple tones in the flower.

Great contrast between the diagonals of the shades and the softness of the lillies! It kills me, too, when I cannot photograph all the beauty around me, and in these situations it is definitely frowned upon!

Those are the kinds of photo opps where you wait until everyone clears the room and take a quick shot hoping no one will see you! Yes, definitely better to not take one at all! This has a very modern feel to it. My sympathies on your family's loss.
