Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer's lease hath all too short a date:
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimmed,
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance, or nature's changing course untrimmed:
But thy eternal summer shall not fade,
Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow'st,
Nor shall death brag thou wander'st in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou grow'st,
So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.

i'd have wanted for the sun to be just inside that crystal ball but since i can't see the monitor, this was the best i could do.
for the 52-week challenge. this week, it's silhouette portrait, exposing the background, the subject falling into shadow. if there's another beautiful sunset tomorrow or any night this week, i just might try again, provided i have the energy to stand on the second rung of the step ladder. :-P

I had to memorize that sonnet for a drama class! I could never remember what # it was. And all I could remember was the first 3 lines! I'll have to print this out now so the next time I think of it I can read it through! LOL Great pairing with your picture.
