hahahahaha! in my first job, my then bf jeanna and i would hang around the clinic during breaks. we were friends with the medical assistant and the company doctor (an elderly woman) was used to our presence. there was a period every year when the employees would have to submit to a physical exam. one morning, one of the 'tough' guys in the garage entered the clinic, looked at us and at the doctor who were chatting with us. the guy back tracked and was about to close the door when doc called him back.
"Where'd you think you're going? Come back here!" said Doctora.
"I'll come back later, ma'am. you're busy," said tough guy rather meekly, for his size and his reputation.
Doctora motioned him to come back in as she proceeded to enter her office/examination room. tough guy stood there, sizing us up. jeanna and i had this comical grin on our faces, as clarita, the medical assistant, handed Doctora a pair of examination gloves. the doctor put on the gloves with her eyes on tough guy and motioned with her head to follow her, at the same time making a noise with the glove as she stretched the one glove at her wrist. tough guy looked like he was going to faint and hesitated to enter the doc's office.
as he got in and the door shut, the three of us giggled uncontrollably because we knew what happened during physical exams, especially for the men. after a while we heard a muffled "ugh!" from inside then a short while later, tough guy emerged from the examination room. i couldn't help myself laughing. he gave me the evil eye and quickly opened the door to leave whereupon his boss, Mr. Tec (the even tougher guy), entered and asked him if he's done with the exam. tough guy nodded 'yes' and half-ran out. Mr. Tec called out "no wonder you're walking sexy!" Jeanna made a loud whistling sound and i fell down the floor laughing.
Doctora came out and said "I don't know why these guys make a big drama out of this examination." then gave Mr. Tec a once over and motioned him towards the examination room, "You! get in there and bend over!"
jeanna and I waited until Mr. Tec came out and we tried to suppress our giggles. "Your breaktime's finished, go back to your desks," Mr. Tec told us.
when he opened the door to leave, our boss, one of the toughest lawyers in the country, came in. jeanna and i hastily left. our boss called out to us, "what? not good enough for the two of you?" we just about died laughing!
