a bracelet i bought when i was in the philippines last year, made of a strand of tiny snail shells. you can appreciate the size of the shells by the clasp slightly at the back. i'm afraid to use it, as i feel the shells would come alive and would crawl all over me.
for the macros-shells challenge.
thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that they are greatly appreciated.
by the way, i watched the movie "hidden figures" yesterday. now i want to read the book!
Well at first from their colours I thought they might be lollies (candy)! Caramel, and peppermint and liquorice! I'll keep thinking this ..... rather than the hidden snails in their tiny homes!
I love this shot - and definitely tops among the challenge! I'll bet nobody envisioned such a composition for this challenge. Now as for wearing it.....
Terrific image here for the challenge. wonderful detail. Someone had loads of patience to make that bracelet
