in downtown toronto we have an underground network of pedestrian tunnels and elevated walkways that connect the office towers of the financial district and nearby buildings. as per the Guinness World Records PATH is the largest underground shopping complex in the world with 371,600 square metres (4,000,000 sq ft) of retail space. often, the shops would have a 'sidewalk' sale. three years ago, i bought a pair of cases for throw pillows. what do you know, i forgot about them. when my apartment got flooded in 2015, the movers cleaned and boxed all of my stuff in the apartment. some of those boxes i haven't had time to sort out but because i am moving to a 2-bedroom next month, i decided to trim my crap some more. and i found this and the other one. i bought them mainly for photography as yet i have to get a throw pillow. well, i haven't found any on sale yet.
maybe i'll shoot the other one tomorrow. or maybe not.
getting this in for this week's 52-week challenge where we have to tell the story of something forgotten.
Isn't it great finding treasures you had forgotten about. My son just moved out my daughter moved last July and I have a three bedroom all to myself. I've started preparing my son room and converting it into a photography and sitting room. This means unpacking some of my treasures boxed away from 4-5 years ago. To my surprise I too found a number of items I have collected and have been reacquainted with. I now have a room to display and photograph my forgotten treasures.
I do love your narrative and photo we seem to be re-organizing our lives. We do need to catch up.
