the weather today was perfect for easter egg hunting. it's so heart-warming to see these little kids on the subway, eyes sparkling, mouths smiling wide, bearing little baskets of chocolates and eggs. i swear there was definitely a sense that happy days are ahead.
for my get pushed challenge this week set by lisa @homeschoolmom which is "spring inspired photo without flowers". i took photos of colourful bags of top soil from a garden centre but there's just no glamour in them. then again, easter is definitely a harbinger of good weather (although let's face it, there's always the possibility of snow even in may).

Hello again! Ashley isn't able to do Get Pushed this week and my partner is AWOL, so we are going to be partners again this week, so I'm going to give you another challenge as another option to the one Ashley gave you. You can do freelensing (which my camera can't do) or you can do a themed word, such as use beach items to spell beach in a collage (you can pick the theme and word). Have fun.
