time by summerfield

time

time is too slow for those who wait
too swift for those who fear
too long for those who grieve
too short for those who rejoice
but for those who love
time is eternity.

very true. when i was young i couldn't wait to grow up so i can work and earn my own keep. and now, now that i know exactly what to do in my life, i feel that there isn't much more time to do them, and it seems i am wasting my time doing things that don't matter yet somehow must be done.

this is a composite of three photographs. processed in all possible ways and in five different programs including photoshop. ain't that ridiculous?

Not ridiculous but clever use of that time!

Love the poem . So true thinking in youth time seems to stand still and then you turn around and your 60th birthday is looming right in front of you (me). 😩

I really like this. I'm not sure what all you did to process it but it's a nice image and appears simple even if it was complicated.

@lesip you are just a baby. And a darn good looking one too for 60

Nice capture. The EXIF doesn't match the time on the watch.

Wonderful photo. I love the processing, however you did it.

Timeless, despite the fact that there is a watch there! Beautifully done.

Don't know if you saw this so I'm reposting it here.
Hello again! Ashley isn't able to do Get Pushed this week and my partner is AWOL, so we are going to be partners again this week, so I'm going to give you another challenge as another option to the one Ashley gave you. You can do freelensing (which my camera can't do) or you can do a themed word, such as use beach items to spell beach in a collage (you can pick the theme and word). Have fun.

I seem to spend a lot of time doing things that don't matter and itching to get on to the ones that do. Its a slippery matter, this time thing. Your time measurement piece is most lovely and looking like it could be snatched away at any time. A lovely composition and rendering.
